Accord in Osun state says its choice to select Akin Ogunbiyi as the governorship flag bearer in the Osun state governorship election billed for July 16 is a step in the right direction.
The Party’s chairman in Osun State, Pastor Victor Akande stated the while featuring on Radio Nigeria Ogo-Ilu FM weekly political Program Gbagede Oselu.
Pastor Akande said the choice of Ogunbiyi was made after the party was sure that Ogunbiyi’s personality would give Accord a chance in the forthcoming election in the state.
“Ogunbiyi has all qualities of a good leader.You know what happened in the Party he came from,how electricity was suddenly put off during primaries.
He recently pulled out of a party because he was not comfortable with them.He is a man of quality”
Pastor Akande said the Party, if voted into power in Osun state, would make decisive moves in fortifying security, improving healthcare delivery and prioritising the needs of pensioners.
The Accord State Chairman expressed confidence that the Party was spreading and becoming more popular in the state.
