Muslims should continue to live in line with the teachings of Ramadan so as to be worthy of Aljanat.
Osun State governor, Mr Adegboyega Oyetola stated this in his words to the congregation at the Osogbo Central Eid praying ground, Osogbo.
Governor Oyetola who urged faithful to be guided with the fear of Allah appreciated God for the peace being enjoyed in the state and canvassed for more prayers from the people.
The governor who appealed to parents to take education of their children seriously to ensure a brighter future for them, tasked youth to shun thuggery and hooliganism.
Earlier, the Chief Imam of Osun State, Sheikh Musa Animashaun admonished faithful to live up to expectations as true Muslims.
Sheikh Animashaun emphasized the need to fear Allah, follow his conducts and give alms always.
In attendance at the Eid Ground were some government officials among whom were the Secretary to the State Government, SSG, Prince Wole Oyebamiji and the Head of Service, Olowogboyega Oyebade.
