Osun State governor, Senator Ademola Adeleke could not observe the two Rakat prayers for the Eid-el-Kabir celebration as pandemonium broke out at the Osogbo Eid Praying Ground where he was to observe the prayer.

The governor left after the arranged space for him was hijacked by Former Senate Spokesperson, Senator Ajibola Bashir despite attempts by some Muslim leaders to wade in and arrange another space for Senator Bashir.

Governor Adeleke left the Eid Praying Ground after all efforts to make the former senator vacate the seat for him did not yield results.

Meanwhile, the Chief Imam of Osogbo, Sheikh Musa Animashaun led the remaining worshippers at the Eid Praying Ground to observe the prayer for the Eid-El-Kabir celebration, though some had left due to fear.

However, there was no assassination attempt on the governor as rumoured on some online media.
