Ogun State government has unveiled a master plan of Ijebu-Ode-Epe-Mojoda roads for a robust economic cluster and developmental projection for the State.
The Commissioner for Physical Planning and Urban Development, Mr Olatunji Odunlami made this known in Abeokuta during the presentation of the Draft Master Plan Report of Ijebu-Ode-Epe-Mojoda roads.
Mr Odunlami explained that the design of the master plan for the development of the area and its environs was to avoid haphazard development and increase the Internally Generated Revenue, IGR, target of the State.
In a remark, Permanent Secretary in the Ministry, Mr. Adetunji Kanimodo noted that the master plan would add more value to the infrastructural amenities in the area, as well as attract more investors and other stakeholders to  partner the State government on investment.

Also, the Commissioner for Finance and Chief Economic Adviser to the Governor, Mr Dapo Okubadejo explained that Ijebu, Remo, Atan-Agbara/Ota, Abeokuta, Magboro, and Imeko-Afon locations were listed to be the State government’s economic cluster, and well positioned to attract local and international investors.
 Mr Okubadejo expressed optimism that areas would significantly boost productive output, achieve regional planning, stimulate economic growth and development that would lead to individual prosperity.

In a presentation, a Consultant, Mr Moses Ogunleye said the 12-year master plan projection to be implemented in phases would bring about a well-planned environment with facilities such as wastewater management, adequate electricity supply and good road networks.
