The Osun State Resident Electoral Commissioner of the Independent Electoral Commission, INEC, Professor Olayinka Raji has advised politicians to desist from money politics and vote-buying during next month’s governorship election.

Speaking with Radio Nigeria Gold FM in Ilesa, Professor Raji explained that the electoral umpire was fully prepared for a fair and acceptable election, hence the need for the stakeholders to play the game according to the rules.

Professor Raji cautioned the youths and voters against electoral malpractices, noting that security agencies were ready to arrest and prosecute offenders without delay.

The INEC boss, who expressed the determination of the INEC to provide a level playground for all political parties, appreciated traditional rulers in the state for their support and encouragement in setting the pace for the 2023 general election.
