Voting and accreditation are ongoing simultaneously in today’s governorship election in Ekiti State.

Polling units opened at exactly eight o’clock in the morning while voting started by 8:30 am.

INEC Ad-hoc staff arrived on time with Election materials.

At least, between 3 and 4 Policemen were stationed at each of the polling units while troops of the Nigerian Army are on various roads to enforce the restriction order.

Polling units in front of EKSUTH, Christ Boys School and another one beside Zenith Bank in Ado Ekiti have many voters being attended to by INEC ad-hoc staff.

Some of the voters, who spoke to PFM reporter, lauded INEC on the early arrival of materials.

At INEC state office in the capital, armed security agents from the Nigeria Police with sniffer dogs, Nigerian Army and NSCDC are within and outside the office.

However, people with Disabilities, and albinism have expressed worry over the inability of the Electoral body to provide necessary assistive materials for them.
