Although there have been hiccups with accreditation equipment in some polling units, the exercise is going smoothly in other Polling Units.
Some voters in one of the polling units in Ikosu Ekiti, Moba Local Government Area of Ekiti State have raised alarm over the malfunctioning of the Bimodal Voter Accreditation System, BVAS machine in the unit.
However, when contacted, INEC spokesperson in Ekiti State, Mr Femi Akinbiyi said backup BIVAS machines and Registration Area Centre Technologists had been deployed to polling units with different complaints on malfunctioning of the machines.
