The French Ambassador to Nigeria Mrs Emmanuelle Blatmann has expressed her country’s readiness to partner Ogun State Government in developing transportation, information technology, culture and women empowerment.

Mrs Blatmann who made this known in Oke Mosan Abeokuta when she paid a courtesy visit to Ogun state Governor, Prince Dapo Abiodun, noted that Ogun had potential to be the leading state in Nigeria.

Ambassador Blatmann noted that French International Development Agency was working in the State’s rural water sector, aimed at making life meaningful for the people at the grassroots.

While pointing out that her country had invested over Ten billion Euros in Nigeria, Mrs Blatmann
said France was working towards developing more mutual relationship with Nigeria.

She explained that France would encourage Agriculture in Nigeria towards ensuring food security and create employment that would bring an end to various challenges confronting the country.

Responding, Ogun State Governor, Prince Dapo Abiodun who commended the French companies for investing in the state, called on French investors to key into the State’s Agricultural sector.
