As part of activities lined up to mark the 2022 Nigerian Army Day Celebration 2022, the 32 Artillery Brigade, has organized a free medical outreach for the people of Owo local government area of Ondo State. 

The Commander of the Artillery Brigade, Owena Barracks Akure, Brigadier General Mukhtar Adamu who was represented by the Acting Assistant Chief of Staff in charge of Administration, Major E.C. Osondu, stated that the Nigerian Army had decided to give back to society in order to celebrate its day. 

According to Brigadier General Adamu, various medical sections such as the Laboratory Section, Pharmacy Section, Dental Section, Records Department, Nursing Section, and Doctor’s Consultation Unit have been mobilized for the medical needs of the people. 

The Army chief noted that drugs and mosquito nets were being given, the covid-19 test was conducted, blood pressure was checked, dental issues were attended to, amongst others. 

Brigadier General Adamu urged the people to continue to provide useful information for the security agencies for a peaceful society.

In his remarks, the Olowo of Owo, Oba Ajibade Ogunoye expressed his joy and profound gratitude to the Nigerian Army for such great privilege given to the people of Owo at this critical time.
