Trading activities were put on hold following the demolition of some parts of Labe Labe Market, popularly known as Dugbe Alawo.
Sources say the demolition is being carried out by a developer known as Kamiluiz.
Some traders, who spoke with Radio Nigeria, said they got wind of the exercise earlier on, while a trader who is relatively new in the area could not say much.
At the time of filing the report, traders were observed sorting out fragments from their demolished stalls while
personnel of the Nigeria Police stood by watching.
