Ogun State governor, Prince Dapo Abiodun says his administration would soon introduce a special grant towards ensuring that market men and women in the state have access to capital to trade.
Governor Abiodun who made this known when he paid a visit to the Oke-Aje market in Ijebu Ode, said the step was necessary to promote economic activities across the state.
The governor also said the Amotekun Corps would be deployed to the Oke-Aje market, adding that his administration would soon install solar lights in the market.
Governor Abiodun also promised that his administration would dig boreholes and grade all roads within the market.
In their separate remarks, the Iyaloja of Oke-Aje Market, Alhaja Wuraola Kuforiji and the Babaloja of Akile-Ijebu, Chief Idowu Salami commended Governor Dapo Abiodun-led administration for providing a conducive environment for traders across the state.
