Ogun State Governor, Prince Dapo Abiodun, has promised that his administration would install solar light in rural areas that are not connected to the national grid.


Governor Abiodun made this known  while inagurating 4.5 kilometres Molusi College Road  Ijebu-Igbo, in Ijebu-North Local Government Area of the state.


The Governor also said that electric transformers would be distributed to boost power supply at the grassroots, adding that rehabilitation of rural roads across the state would soon  commence.


While explaining that  construction of 4. 5 Kilometres Molusi College Road would  boost economic activities in Ijebu Igbo and its environs, the Governor gave the assurance  that affordable housing units would be constructed in the town.


The Senator representing Ogun East Senatorial District, Lekan Mustapha, commended the Governor for even distribution of developmental projects across the state and called for the reconstruction of more deplorable roads in Ijebu Igbo and its environs.
