The ongoing construction of the 13 – Kilometer Joga – Orile, Ibooro, Imasai and Ibese road in Ogun West Senatorial District has been described as a catalyst to boost the social and economic life of people in the area.

Speaking on behalf of the residents, a community leader, Baasi of Joga – Orile, Chief Musa Akinbode said the road project, facilitated by the lawmaker representing the Senatorial District at the National Assembly, Senator Tolu Odebiyi had brought relief to the people.

Chief Akinbode expressed optimism that when completed, the road would help to improve farmers productivity and access to markets with the expected ease in the transportation of people and goods, particularly farm produce.

In a reaction, the federal lawmaker, Senator Tolu Odebiyi pointed out that the road project being handled by the Federal Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development was part of his efforts to add value to the people.

Senator Odebiyi who urged road users to be cautious while passing through the construction areas, also implored the people to take ownership of the road as well as the newly installed solar power projects at Ayetoro and Igbogila among other locations across the Senatorial District.

He emphasized the need to ensure proper maintenance of the projects and protect them from vandals.
