Road Users plying Oluyole Industrial/7up road have been experiencing difficult times navigating their ways since the beginning of this week.
Radio Nigeria gathered that the road had been witnessing unusual gridlock as a result of a diversion of motorists and motorcyclists coming from Sharp Corner/Oluyole Estate road and indiscriminate packing of trucks belonging to the companies around the area.
Radio Nigeria further gathered that the diversion was a result of repair works ongoing by the State Government on a bridge which commenced last weekend.
While feeling the pulse of the affected people, they lamented that it had been tough plying the road since the commencement of the repair.
Some of them said this week had been a terrible experience as they had been getting to their workplaces late, while they also get home very late in the night.
The Motorists and Commuters frowned at the decision to embark on the repairs during the daytime, describing it as an insensitive decision on the part of the government.
They however called on the government to fast-track the repair works and caution the companies in the area against indiscriminate packing for traffic flow to return to normalcy.
