Following the attack on one of its staff at its branch located at Challenge Ibadan, Oyo State on Monday, a popular commercial bank, on Tuesday, shut its ATMs against its customers in all its branches in Ibadan.

Our Correspondent gathered that some customers had besieged the bank on Monday to complain of debit errors, including almost one million naira.

The customers were however angry over alleged provocative utterances and reaction from a staff of the bank.

Radio Nigeria gathered further that the development generated protest from the aggrieved customers, causing pandemonium in the banking hall.

The angry customers almost beat up the bank staff, raining curses and threatened more spiritual and physical attacks.

However, in some of the branches of the bank visited, bank officials were seen attending to customers with debit errors on their accounts.

In an interview, some customers of the bank who were waiting at the entrance of the, appealed to the bank management to temper justice with mercy.
