Governor Dapo Abiodun has announced the renaming of Ogun State College of Health Technology, Ilese – Ijebu to Ogun State Polytechnic of Health Sciences and Allied Sciences, Ilese.
Governor Abiodun made this known while addressing students of the institution during a campaign tour of the Ijebu North-East Local Government Area of the state.
The Governor, who promised that the polytechnic would soon have a substantive Rector, said his administration would continue to give priority to education.
He assured the people that rehabilitation works would commence on roads within the institution by next week, pointing out that the Ilese township road which was recently re-awarded by his administration would soon be completed.
The Governor, who also inaugurated the 8 – kilometre Erunwon – Atan Road in the council area as well as another 3.2-kilometer Molipa Expressway in Ijebu-Ode, emphasized that his administration had constructed over 400km of roads in the last three and half years.
