About four thousand persons including persons with special needs in Ogun West have been empowered with grants and skill acquisition training.
The empowerment facilitated by the Senate Committee Chairman on Finance, Aremo Solomon Adeola in Ilaro had two hundred graduates, one hundred teachers and one hundred students’ beneficiaries.
The beneficiaries were empowered with Laptops, Tricycles, Makeup Kits, Hairdressing Saloon Equipment, Gas Cylinders and Cookers among others.
Senator Adeola, who is the Senatorial candidate of All the Progressives Congress(APC) for Ogun West, noted that his leaving Lagos West for Ogun West was meant to renew the hope of the people.
He urged the beneficiaries to judiciously make use of the empowerment.
Twenty communities also received transformers during the programme.
