Nigerians have been urged to uphold peace while making informed decisions ahead of Governorship and House of Assembly election on Saturday. 

Ogun State Director of National Orientation Agency, NOA, Mr Kolawole Obadina who made the call while speaking with Radio Nigeria also advised politicians to play the game strictly by the rules. 

Mr Obadina urged politicians to avoid empty promises but to base their electioneering on realizable goals that would help in making life easier for the people. 

The NOA State Director also implored those seeking leadership positions to understand the need for continuity in the process of governance and work towards consolidating on the achievements of their predecessors. 

He emphasized that the agency required the support of all Nigerians to succeed in the task of educating and mobilizing the people, especially those at the grassroots on the need to exercise their civic responsibilities and be able to hold politicians accountable to their campaign promises.
