The National Orientation Agency, NOA, Oyo State has distanced itself from the publication making the round and fuelled by some mischief makers, that the state government is recruiting unemployed graduates for job placement through the agency.

This is contained in a statement issued by the agency’s State Director, Mr. Kayode Odedokun, and signed by the Head of Media, Mr. Isiaka Kehinde.

The statement reads in part: “This is to inform the public that the attention of our Agency has just been drawn to the ongoing spurious publication making the rounds and fuelled by some mischief makers, that the state government is recruiting unemployed graduates for job placement through our agency”.

“While it can’t be disproved that Oyo State Directorate of the National Orientation Agency has a very cordial working relationship with the state government, this doesn’t confer on us the duty of its recruitment agents, therefore we urge the good people of Oyo State to disregard the rumour, lest they fall into the hands of scammers.”

“While thanking the Oyo State government and the good people of the state for their constant support and cooperation, we wish them compliments of Ramadan Season.”
