Workers in Oyo state have resumed after the Eid-el-Fitri break to mark the end of fasting for the Muslim faithful.

Radio Nigeria correspondent who visited the Agodi Secretariat, Ibadan reports that workers were seen at their offices to carry out their duties.

In an interview, some of the workers described the holidays as worthwhile to reunite with their families.

Mrs Kikelomo Aiyedun and Mr Hamzat Olalekan lauded Governor Makinde for the payment of the April salary saying the step made the festival a remarkable one.

It would be recalled that the federal government had declared the 21st and 24th of December public holidays to mark the Eld-el-Fitri celebration.
