Ekiti State government has expressed its readiness to synergise with the National Orientation Agency, NOA, towards ensuring a more functional and conducive environment in the state.

Governor Biodun Oyebanji made this known while playing host to the management team of the National Orientation Agency, NOA in his office in Ado Ekiti.

Governor Oyebanji who emphasised the importance of giving proper orientation to the people in order to engender a peaceful society, commended the NOA, especially on its efforts towards ensuring tranquillity during the last presidential, national and State House of Assembly elections in Ekiti State.

He solicited an initiative where the agency would be presenting quarterly reports to him, about the position and expectations of the Ekiti people from the state government so as to come up with good policies that would satisfy their yearnings.

Earlier in her remarks, the Director of the National Orientation Agency, NOA in Ekiti State, Mrs Olawumi Famuyiwa was appreciative of the support her agency had gotten from the state government, saying the agency is poised to join forces with the government in the task of educating and sensitising the people of the state.

Mrs Famuyiwa also sought the governor’s support via the provision of some logistics, including vehicles, stipends and public address systems so as to enhance the agency’s public orientation programmes in the state.
