Less than a week after a similar incident, suspected kidnappers have struck again in the Oke Ogun area of Oyo State.

It occurred Wednesday evening at a farm settlement located along Iseyin – Ipapo Road where two farm workers and the owner of a poultry farm were reportedly abducted.

However, following a combined operation by members of the Vigilante Group of Nigeria, VGN from Iseyin and Itesiwaju Local Government Areas, two of the farm workers have been rescued, while the search for the poultry farmer identified as Alfa Soliu Adesola, a.k.a Alokonigbo continues.

Radio Nigeria gathered from one of the vigilantes that the suspected kidnappers are now demanding a thirty million naira ransom.

Oyo State Commander of the Vigilante Group of Nigeria, VGN, Comrade Sunday Olajide confirmed the incident saying the suspects would soon be nabbed and handed over to the police.
