Osun State Governor, Senator Ademola Adeleke has called on warring factions at Kajola market in Kajola town to sue for peace by allowing mediatory intervention by the Commissioner for Commerce and Industry.
In a statement by Governor’s Spokesperson, Mallam Olawale Rasheed, the market leaders were appealled to remain calm as the Governor has directed the Commissioner for Commerce and Industry to wade into the matter with immediate effect.
The statement indicates that the intervention is to allow for the reopening of the market to protect the livelihood of stakeholders.
It enjoined all factions to stop hostilities pending the outcome.of the mediation, warning that nobody should take law into their hands.
