Christians have again been charged to live a life worthy of emulation and be heaven-conscious to gain eternal life.
Presiding Pastor, Arm of God’s Grace Church, Oleh, Isoko South, Local Government Area, Delta State, The Reverend Dandy Idoghor, stated this in a sermon at the funeral of a retired civil engineer, Elder Onome Peters Ibomor.
Reverend Idoghor, who noted that there is a life hereafter, urged the people to let the fear of God reflect in their daily lives.
Two children of the deceased, Lilian and Samson Ibomor described their father as a peace loving and humble man.
“If there is any word I can use to describe my Dad, it’s “Peace” he was an epitome of peace. An extremely caring man, calls me his mother and allows me treat him as a child. He was a very strong man who took the welfare of his children and others above his own. I will miss him for everything.
Elder Onome Peters Ibomor died on the 11th of last month during a brief illness.
He is survived by wife, children and grandchildren, among whom is Lilian Ibomor of the Federal Radio Corporation of Nigeria, Ibadan Zonal Station.
