The Nigeria Governors Forum (NGF) has held an Emergency closed door meeting in Abuja.

The meeting was chaired by the Chairman of the Forum, who is also the Kwara State governor, AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq.

The meeting centred around security, fuel subsidy palliative for the withdrawal of subsidy on premium motor spirit (PMS), and the recently enacted electricity act.

The chief press secretary to Governor Mohammed Bago, of Niger state, Bologi Ibrahim, shared the update on the official handle of the Governor on X, formerly known as Twitter

The meeting which was held behind closed doors was chaired by the NGF chairman who doubles as Kwara state Governor, AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq.

Some of the governors in attendance include Hope Uzodimma of Imo State, Ademola Adeleke of Osun State, Chukwuma Soludo of Anambra State, Babagana Zulum of Borno State, and Alex Otti of Abia State, among others.

The national security adviser, Nuhu Ribadu, also attended the meeting
