Osun State Police Command says it has arrested some suspects in connection with the Ifon-Ilobu crisis and killing of a 28-year-old man, Ibrahim Kudus in Okanala, Irepodun Local Government area of the Osun State on Sunday.
In a statement in Osogbo, Police spokesperson for the command, Mrs Yemisi Opalola, noted that normalcy had returned to the area while some suspects had been arrested.
She said, “We have made arrests concerning the incident and the CP, Kehinde Longe, has deployed officers to the area to maintain law and order”.
“Presently, Police officers are on ground in the area and normalcy has returned, and people are going about their normal duties”.
Mrs Opalola gave assurance that justice would take its course.
