Ogun state police command has arrested one Gbenga Kolawole, a 32 year old man, who allegedly raped a 16 year old drunk girl.
According to a statement by the state Police Public Relations Officer, Mrs Omolola Odutola, the girl was drunk during an annual Church anniversary celebration on the 6th of November 2023 in Adubi, Ogun State, and was taken to a nearby bar and locked there before she became victim to Gbenga Kolawole
Mrs Odutola explained that he was however caught while perpetrating the evil by one Sunday Ibrahim who lives in the area and exposed him before the mother of the victim later informed the police.
The PPRO noted that the victim had been taken to a private hospital for medical attention while preliminary investigation continues
