I grind and I graft, but I will make sure that I get that time off here and there to unwind and relax and have a life”, an English musician Tulisa says.

Monday 4, 2023 was one such day for members of the Nigeria Union of Journalists, NUJ, FRCN Ibadan chapel to unwind, as part of activities to mark Press Week.

The venue of the treat was Kayrom Lee Gym and Fitness Centres,  Obafemi Awolowo Stadium, Liberty Road, Oke-Ado, Ibadan, where they engaged in exercises and swimming to promote their health, mental alertness and fitness.

The members of the union, who were led by the Chairman, Mr Olukayode Banjo, were warmly received by the Chief Executive Officer of the centre, Ambassador Romoke Ayinde who conducted them around the facilities.

Kayrom Lee Gym is truly a place to be, and the experience the fitness outfit offered was quite exhilarating!

Talk of the swell time splashing, diving and floating in the swimming pool: a way to increase the neurochemicals in the brain for happier, healthier, to lower stress and anxiety, according to fitness experts.

No less memorable were encounters with the equipment at Kayrom Lee, with the likes of the massaging machine, sauna, and other fitness machines.
