Nigeria Security and Civil Defense Corps, NSCDC has reiterated its commitment to ensuring crime-free Yuletide celebrations.

NSCDC Commandant, Oyo State Command, Dr Michael Adaralewa gave the assurance during the corps end-of-the-year party held at the Command’s headquarters, Agodi Ibadan.

Dr Adaralewa said the Command had partnered with various stakeholders and other security agencies to combat crime, hinting that the move had yielded positive results.

He said the Command organized an end-of-the-year party to appreciate and celebrate the efforts of the officers and men of NSCDC and spur them to do more in the coming year.

“Throughout the year, we have faced numerous challenges, but together, we have triumphed over adversity. Our collective determination and resilience have been instrumental in maintaining peace, ensuring security, and protecting lives and properties within Oyo state”

Dr Adaralewa noted that the commendable achievements in the command were a testament to their unwavering resolve to their civic responsibilities.

“ As we gathered here to celebrate the end of the year, let us remember the importance of unity, camaraderie and solidarity. This occasion provides us with an opportunity to foster stronger bonds, forge new friendships, and reinforce the spirit of brotherhood that defines our organization”

“Let us cast aside our cares and worries momentarily and allow the music and joy to fill our hearts “

The NSCDC commandant in Oyo State therefore called on the people of the State to celebrate moderately to collectively achieve a crime-free society.

The event was graced by representatives from all other security agencies in Oyo State.
