There was no case of food poisoning under the Osun State Home Grown School Feeding Programme, O’meals.

The state Deputy Governor, Prince Kola Adewusi stated this while receiving a team from the National Home Grown School Feeding Programme, Abuja, led by the Senior Special Assistant to the President on School Feeding, Mrs Yetunde Adeniji.

Prince Adewusi said the narrative of food poisoning was orchestrated by political mischief makers, who only had the mission of ensuring that they dented the image of the Adeleke’s administration.

He recalled that the pupils, who claimed to be poisoned, were in school the next day ready to be fed again and continue with their examination.

In her address, the Senior Special Assistant to the President on School Feeding, Mrs.Yetunde Adeniji said it was necessary for the team from Abuja to investigate the case, as it deals with the lives of children.
