As Nigerian joins the rest of the world to mark this year’s Christmas day, Nigerians have been told to imbibe the life of humility which the birth of Jesus Christ represents.

Speaking with Radio Nigeria on the significance of the day, the Pastor-in-charge, Region Eleven of the Gospel Faith Mission International, Jeroam Aina, explained that the birth of Jesus Christ in a manger as well as the life he lived while on earth reflected humility and love.

Pastor Aina who said the birth of Jesus Christ also represents hope for mankind, urged Nigerians to eschew pride and evil.

Speaking on his expectation from the government in 2024, the cleric emphasised the need for political leaders in the country to rule with the fear of God and address the current inflation as well as the security crises bedevilling the nation.

The cleric stressed the need for Nigerians to be optimistic of a better Nigeria and intensify their prayers for a total turnaround of their fatherland in the new year.
