Following the nationwide broadcast of President Bola Tinubu to Nigerians marking the first day of the year 2024, residents of Ibadan, Oyo State capital have reacted to the address.
The respondents described the address as a great relief capable of dousing the tension being experienced by the citizens.
They said, implementation of the promises made by the government would ameliorate suffering of the people, particularly, the less privileged.
Analysing the broadcast, a former Nigerian Ambassador to Burundi, Elijah Onyeagba applauded President Tinubu for being proactive.
President Tinubu in the address enjoined Nigerians to keep hope alive for a prosperous year, with socio-economic advancement.
