Ogun Police Confirms Abduction of 70-Year-Old

Ogun State Police Command has confirmed the abduction of a 70-year-old man, Mr Adeife Ifelaja.

The State Commissioner of Police, Mr Abiodun Alamutu, who confirmed the abduction, said Mr Ifelaja, who is an Elder at the Redeemed Christian Church of God, was kidnapped on December 31, 2023, on his way to his church’s cross-over service held on the New Year Eve.

The commissioner assured that operatives of the command would leave nothing to chance at ensuring that the elderly man was reunited with his family.

He added that the command had been relating with his family members and, all hands were on deck to ensure the release of the victim, stressing that force operatives were on the trail of the kidnappers.
