Nigerians should be optimistic that the current situation in the country will not persist

The Assisting Minister, Methodist Church Ekotedo Ibadan, The Reverend Ben Ajayi gave the admonition during a sermon.

The Reverend Ajayi explained that rather than being pessimistic that the country would not emerge out of the current economic challenges, Nigerians should take time to beseech God for the needed change.

The Cleric in a sermon titled The Rejected City of Nazareth, likened the nation to the Biblical city which people thought could produce nothing good.

He admonished people to continue to trust in God and stop listening to critics who condemn the nation to a hopeless fate.

The Reverend Ajayi, however, urged Leaders in the country to walk in the fear of God in order to benefit from divine guidance in order to move the country forward.
