Ekiti State governor, Mr Biodun Oyebanji has visited the rescued pupils and staff of the private school, who were abducted last Monday in Emure Ekiti who were brought to the Ekiti State University Teaching Hospital Ado Ekiti for medical attention after their release.

Mr Oyebanji, accompanied by the Commissioner for Health and Human Resources, Oyebanji Filani, expressed satisfaction over the swift response of medical personnel who conveyed the rescued victims from Emure down to Ado Ekiti for proper medical treatment. 

The governor also commended the efforts of security agents in the state for working tirelessly since the pupils were kidnapped. 

He, however, commended the commitment of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu in the rescue of the pupils.

The governor assured that his administration would not rest on its oars in ensuring that criminal elements are flushed out of the state. .

The Ekiti state helmsman condoled with the families of the late school bus driver, Mr. Taye Rasaki, who was gruesomely killed by the gunmen.
