Radio Nigeria Ibadan Zonal Station has been described as an outstanding media outfit.
The Director, Tender Scholars Castle Ologuneru, Ibadan, Mrs Marufa Saka, made the remark when she led pupils of the school on an excursion to Broadcasting House, Dugbe.
Mrs Saka explained that Radio Nigeria Ibadan had educative programmes, which endeared the decision of the school’s Management to bring its pupils to the station for the excursion.
Mrs Saka, who said periodic visits to media organizations would significantly enhance pupils’ knowledge, pointed out that media outfits such as the Federal Radio Corporation of Nigeria would contribute to pupils’ education.
The pupils of the school, who were taken around the premises of the station, expressed excitement at the knowledge they gained during the exercise
