Osun State Governor, Senator Ademola Adeleke says he is ready to partner with the Federal Housing Authority to fulfil President Bola Tinubu’s Housing Agenda.

The governor stated this while hosting the management team of the Federal Housing Authority, at the Government House, Oke-Fia in Osogbo.

Governor Adeleke who commended President Bola Tinubu for his renewed hope plan for the housing sector, stressed that he believed the President has the right team to make his plan a reality.

He noted that his government has demonstrated willingness to support the efforts of President Tinubu to pilot the country out of the current socio-economic crisis.

“A federation is composed of federating units. All units join hands for the collective delivery of good governance. When Mr President was the Governor of Lagos state, he demonstrated how subnational entities can break new ground for the good of their people. Now as the President of the Republic, he relates with the state Governors with open, supportive hands. It is clear that Mr President wants all federating units to join hands and cooperate for successful governance”, the governor said.

Governor Adeleke, therefore, urged the management to continue to place national interest above any political interest, stressing that there are several political parties in Nigeria, but the bottom line is for them to record governance successes for the people.

Earlier, the MD/CEO, Federal Housing Authority, Mr Oyetunde Ojo had told the governor that the team is on a nationwide consultative tour directed by President Tinubu on his Renewed Hope agenda to build affordable houses for  Nigerians.

Mr Ojo said the team came intending to partner with the state government and to request land for the construction of the Federal Housing Estate in Osun in line with the federal government’s plans to build affordable houses which all classes of citizens would be able to benefit from.
