An Islamic scholar, Sheikh Fadhlu Rahman has congratulated Muslims across the globe for the successful completion of the Ramadan fast.
Sheikh Rahman while delivering a sermon in Ibadan at Eid ground of Muslim Students Society of Nigeria, MSSN, Oyo State after observing two rakkah of prayer signifying the completion of the Ramadan fast.
He explained that the period of Ramadan fast has afforded Muslims the opportunity of spiritual rebirth and urged them to sustain the lessons.
The Islamic scholar encouraged Muslims to continue praying for the progress of the country and abstain from cursing the leadership of the country.
Sheikh Rahman told other Islamic scholars not to limit intensive preachings to the Ramadan period alone but to ensure its continuation.
He recommended that Muslims should cultivate the habit of fasting periodically as contained in Islamic injunctions.
In an interview, the Amir, MSSN Oyo state, Mallam Abdul Kabir Alamal Yakeen advised Muslims to continue engaging in good deeds and abstain from utterances capable of affecting the peace of the country.
He called on President Bola Tinubu to cushion the hardships in the country.
