The Nigerian Association of Women Journalists (NAWOJ), Osun State Chapter, has rejoiced with its members across the state on the joyous occasion of Eid El-Fitr.

This is contained in a statement jointly signed by the Chairperson, Comrade Abisola Ariwodola and Secretary, Comrade Oluwaranti Ojewumi 

Nawoj Osun joins Muslim sisters in celebrating the conclusion of a period of fasting, prayer, and reflection, as Eid El-Fitr is a time of joy, gratitude, and spiritual renewal, a month-long journey of spiritual devotion and self-discipline.

Osun NAWOJ applauds the dedication, resilience, and unwavering faith exhibited throughout Ramadan period by Muslim members and their commitments to fasting, prayer, which acts of charity exemplifies the values of compassion, empathy, and solidarity that are central to Islam.

As NAWOJ is committed to promoting understanding and harmony within womenfolk, the state chapter of the Women Journalists celebrates the contributions of our Muslim sisters to its social, cultural, and economic fabric, and also implored them to come together to deepen bonds of sisterhood, that reaffirms commitment to mutual respect, tolerance, cooperation and unity. 

The statement also urged Nawojians to always pray for the success of the association, adding that this special Eid El-Fitr celebration be a source of happiness, and spiritual fulfillment for members, loved ones and entire state at large.
