Streets on Oba Adebimpe Road, Dugbe were almost empty as opposed to the usual hustle and bustle that characterized daily life in the area.

It is somewhat expected as local government election holds this Saturday.

Radio Nigeria  Correspondents were at the polling Unit 14, along Oba Adebimpe to feel the pulse of the situation.

Two Party agents Saheed Ogunmona representing the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, and Ayodeji Oke of The All Progresssives Congress, APC, said they had been at the polling unit as early as 8 O’clock in the morning but Oyo State Independent Electoral Commission,OYSIEC, were yet to arrive as at 5mins past 9am.

Also, a female Police officer who craved anoynymity was on ground awaiting election materials.

Meanwhile, few residents and traders in the area were seeing engaging in daily business activities while some were walking on the streets around Dugbe.
