Tragedy struck in Ogbomoso on Tuesday as a container-laden truck lost control and fell on a commercial tricycle, claiming three lives.
It was gathered that the articulated vehicle lost control while navigating a bend at Takie junction, causing the container to topple and crush the tricycle.
Two female passengers and the tricycle rider were killed in the accident.
Meanwhile, efforts are underway to remove the container from the road to avert further accidents and restore traffic flow in the area.
Authorities have urged motorists to exercise caution while approaching the affected section of the road.
