Premier FM Celebrates Staff, Honours Retirees

It was a moment of fun and celebration as members of staff of Premier FM Ibadan gathered within the premises of the station at Iyaganku, for the 2024 end of the year party.

The ceremony also served as an opportunity to send off the immediate past General Manager of the station, Mr Adedamola Tinubu and a former Driver, Mr Uduak Iyang, who both retired last year.

Our correspondent reports that members of staff took turns to eulogize the meritorious services of the retired staff.

Also at the ceremony, some members, including Abiodun Omiyale, Chinelo Obidike, Aminat Azeez, Adeyemi Hamzat, Folakemi Ogunsiji and Oluwakayode Banjo were given awards for their efficiency and dedication.

In an address of welcome, Overseer, Premier FM Ibadan, Mrs Toyin Ajayi-Ope said God has been good to members of staff, hence the need to organize the event to appreciate God and celebrate themselves.

In a goodwill message, Zonal Director, Ibadan National Station, Mr Dominic Mokikan described the immediate past General Manager of the station as God-fearing and dutiful.

Mr Mokikan urged members of staff to contribute meaningfully to the station, bearing in mind what people would say when they bow out.

Responding, the immediate past General Manager, Mr Tinubu appreciated God for seeing him through his service years.

Mr Tinubu enjoined staffers of the station to be passionate about the job and always be ready to accept any task assigned to them.

Similarly, the retired driver, Mr Iyang expressed gratitude to the station for celebrating him.
