Motorists and residents in Ajibayo Village, as well as those travelling between Ajebo and Abeokuta in Obafemi Owode Local Government, will soon experience relief as the Ogun State government prepares to commence the long-awaited reconstruction of the road leading to the Federal University of Medicine and Medical Sciences.

Governor Dapo Abiodun made this announcement while receiving the Board of the Federal Medical Centre, FMC, Abeokuta, led by its Chairman, Dr Dayo Israel, at his office in Okemosan, Abeokuta.

The governor revealed that the state government has partnered with the federal government to ensure that work on the access road begins in the coming months. In response, Dr Dayo Israel pledged to provide visionary leadership that would help the institution optimize resources, increase revenue, and attract additional funding to meet its growing needs.
