Traders of the affected section of the Mayegun Araromi- Gate Spare parts Market in Ibadan North East Local Government Area of Oyo State, which was gutted by fire, have called on the state Governor, Engineer Seyi Makinde and other well meaning Nigerians for aids.

Speaking with Newsmen in Ibadan, the Chairman, Mayegun Spare parts, Mr Demola Amurungun said the fire had razed over 300 million naira worth of property.

Two of the victims, Mr Michael Adejumo and Mr Olabode Tunde who said the cause of the fire was as a result of an electric surge, applauded the state fire service personnel for their prompt response and solicited the support of the State Governor and other wealthy individuals.

The fire which razed down twenty-three shops in the market, was the second outbreak at Araromi- Gate Spare parts in the last three months and fourth within the space of two years.
