The Vicar of Osibo Memorial Anglican Church in Molete, Ibadan, The Venerable Samuel Aiyegbusi, has admonished members of the Senior Staff Association of Statutory Corporations and Government Owned Companies, SSASCGOC, at the Federal Radio Corporation of Nigeria, FRCN, Ibadan Zonal Station, to remain undaunted in their duties.
The Venerable Aiyegbusi delivered this charge during the association’s thanksgiving service at the church auditorium.
Preaching a sermon titled, “Living for God,” the cleric urged the union members to emulate the tenacity of the biblical figure Nehemiah, who persevered despite opposition and challenges.

The Venerable Aiyegbusi emphasized that every individual possesses inherent talents for a purposeful societal impact.
He stressed the need for everyone to leave an indelible mark in their endeavors, regardless of demeaning utterances from opponents.
Venerable Aiyegbusi also challenged the leadership of the FRCN to acknowledge the emerging competitive broadcast environment and reposition the establishment for greater performance.
In an interview, the Chairman of SSASCGOC’s FRCN Ibadan Zonal Station Chapter, Mr. Peter Olowokere, advised his members to imbibe the lessons from the sermon and make a positive impact within and outside the corporation.
Highlights of the event included a Bible reading, praise sessions, and special prayers for SSASCGOC members and the entire Radio Nigeria workforce, which the church Vicar led.
