The Federal Road Safety Corps, FRSC, Ogun Sector Command has announced the passing of its Public Education Officer, Chief Route Commander, Mrs Florence Okpe.
In a statement issued by the Sector Commander, Mr Akinwumi Fasakin in Abeokuta, Ogun State, the officer died on Tuesday, 28th October, 2025, in her hometown while on annual leave.
Describing her as a hardworking, resourceful and committed officer, the Sector Commander expressed deep sorrow over the loss, noting that the Command received the news with a heavy heart.
Mr Fasakin added that details surrounding the cause of her death were still sketchy, assuring that further information would be communicated in due course.
