Governor Seyi Makinde of Oyo state has urged prospective users of Dr. Omololu Olunloyo Park to ensure its maintenance and use strictly for it purposes.
Governor Makinde stated this at the official inauguration of the park, located at the Airport road, Alakia, Ibadan.
Governor Makinde who was represented by his Deputy, Chief Adebayo Lawal said the Park was another means of preserving the rich cultural heritage and history of the state.
The Governor said the facilities at the Park would help both the indigenes and visitors of the state to learn much about the peculiarity of each zones of the state.
He said the project, that was made out of abandoned site, was to immortalize Dr. Omololu Olunloyo, for his contributions to the state and Nigeria entirely.
Facilities situated at the entrance of the road leading to the Ladoke Akintola International Airport, designed for public use and relaxation include, Cinema, Museum, Café, VIP Lounge, and Garden.
