Super Eagles of Nigeria will battle the Desert Warriors of Algeria in the quarter finals of the 2025 African Cup of Nations, AFCON, in Morocco.
Algeria defeated Democratic Republic of Congo 1-nil yesterday to set up a mouthwatering clash with Nigeria on Saturday at five o’clock in the evening.
Cote D’Ivoire also advanced to the quarter finals after beating Burkina Faso 3-0 yesterday in the final round of 16 fixtures.
Cote D’Ivoire will face Egypt in the quarter finals.
Other quarter final games include Mali versus Senegal and Cameroon versus Host Nation Morocco.
