Makinde Swears in 17 Perm. Secs

Oyo State Governor, Mr ‘Seyi Makinde has sworn-in newly appointed Permanent Secretaries in the state’s Civil/Public Service, charging them to demonstrate loyalty and commitment to the state and to discharge their duties effectively. 

Speaking at the ceremony held at the Executive Council Chamber of the Governor’s Office, Agodi, Secretariat, Ibadan, Governor Makinde charged the seventeen new Permanent Secretaries, to run their offices with probity and transparency. 

He noted that their appointment followed due process, where competence and merit, rather than undue interference, took centre stage.

The new Permanent Secretaries include eight for the mainstream; four from the Education sector, comprising an Inspector-General of Education and three Tutors-General; three from the local government sector; one from the House of Assembly Service Commission and the Auditor-General for the state.
