Political parties have been urged to prioritize issue-based campaigns, strengthen internal democracy, and promote transparent and competitive primaries ahead of the Osun State governorship election scheduled for August 15.
Participants made the call during a Stakeholders Validation Forum organized by The Kukah Center in Ile-Ife.
Speaking at the event, Project Manager, Kukah Center, Abuja, Miss Asabe Ndahi said the forum aimed to validate the content analysis conducted in Osun State in preparation for the governorship poll.

Miss Ndahi explained that the event is a critical step to achieve a peaceful election and to prevent loss of lives and property driven by political ambition.
